Book Review: "Think Yourself Young" By Peter Baksa

By Saleem Rana

Peter Baksa has written a new book called "Think Yourself Young." He recently spoke to Allen Cardoza and Dr. Melody Foxx from Answers for the Family on LA Talk Radio concerning his book. He said that it was necessary to abandon misconceptions about the nature of reality for anyone who hopes to create a plan to reverse the process of aging.

This new book is a follow-up to his earlier book called "The Point of Power." That book was well received by literary critics. It was his first guide to the scientific principles behind the law of attraction. His new book now revisits the law of conscious creation from the perspective of increasing the quality and length of human life.

Although the premise of "Think Yourself Young" may appear to fly in the face of observed experience, Baksa makes a bold effort to show how this idea is not as outrageous as it first seems. Challenging the assumption that aging and death are inevitable experiences for all human beings, the author discussed the potency of right thinking and intending, dieting, and living a low stress life in changing the process of aging.

Drawing from the argument that our thoughts create our reality, the analogy that human longevity has already increased by 300% compared to the lifespan of the early Romans, and referencing his experience at a Lama Temple in Beijing, China, he progressively led the listener to acknowledge the possibility that aging could be slowed down considerably, and possibly even reversed.

During his time at the Lama monastery, where he lived among Tibetan monks who were robust at the age of 120 years, Baksa discovered many secrets to making time slow down. Today, he believes that the secret to longevity is designing a lifestyle that includes many rituals to focus the mind through conscious intent, reduce stress and anxiety through meditation, and rejuvenate the body through a healthy diet and exercise.

His book could prove very effective for many who wish to take charge of their own health and improve their chances of an extended, happy, wholesome, and efficient life. It provides a road-map on how to use easy strategies to keep away from self-destructive behavior that expedite aging. The early part of his guide works on convincing the reader that this idea is definitely practical and not outlandish because it is rooted in fastidiously gathered evidence. Then the later part of the book describes methods to start the process of making yourself younger.
